Is it not leaking fuel? It looks to me it sprang a leak. Does it smell like fuel in that area? If it is leaking there its time to park the car. Before something bad really happens.

Can I unplug the fuel sensor so the car will start! If so, how do I go about doing this!

That's what evaporated fuel looks like. A black sludge and it appears to be leaking through the sensor.

FWIW OBD Fusion App with the Lexus Toyota PID pack allows us to see HPFR data... This could be a good tool.

I see no need to remove the intake manifold. I disconnected negative battery terminal, removed plastic, air filter and tubing, 4 bolts on throttle body, 6 bolts, 2 nuts and bolt on back of surge tank, and removed connectors as needed to remove surge tank (though you could likely just move it to the side. Once you clear the surge tank forward, there is clear and easy access to the sensor. 24mm open end wrench had it out in 30 seconds, while carefully moving the unhooked sensor wire with it as I loosened sensor and it is ready for new sensor. This is a one-hour job, though I am somewhat experienced and have a full set of Snap-ons. Book should not be more than 2 hours. The only real issue is disconnecting the plastic wiring connectors, as they are brittle on this 15 year old vehicle (07 gs350). FYI
