Scorshe dash replacement question
Hello everyone,
I'm only new here and am really impressed with your Forum!
I have just recently purchased a Vermillion 2011 IS350 f sport
I must I am very disappointed with the ML system. It lacks Base and volume and the head unit is very restrictive in its operation while the wheels are in motion as you are all no doubt aware. I have purchased a Scorshe dash panel which incorporates a touch screen for the HVAC.
My question is has anyone on here fitted one of these panels to their car and are they happy with it? I know I have my work cut out for me as these panels are not made to fit ML equipped cars but I'm going to give it a go.
I will be fitting a Clarion NX501 head unit which I have had for a few years but never had the opportunity to install it in any of my cars. I will also be fitting 3 way Focal polyglass in the front and 2 ways in the rear doors.
Cheers
Darren

I have to wonder if there isn't an issue going on with your system, ie, a blown channel or something...I have the base audio system in my 2011 and it's quite impressive. I honestly couldn't want it much louder and I 'rock out' all the time. Of course it's all relative...if you are used to having a custom system with (2) 12's in the back then that is a different kind loud.
Have you tried listening to another IS, a friend or at the dealer, just to make sure it's not your car that has an issue? Just a thought.
Good luck
