Default Aftermarket boot axles?

Can anyone recommend and have experiece with an aftermarket boot axle? My inner boot is ripped and I plan using the original axle because im not paying for an OEM one. But i need a back up plan just in case my axle is bad because ive had a torn boot for several months now. Seems like everyone buys from rock auto so would that be good quality?

No one? All I hear on here is how everyone has cv boot issues. What axles are you guys buying to replace and are they holding up good?

I haven't had to replace axles on my Lexus yet, but I have used Napa house brand axles on other cars with good success.

I have replaced boots and it all depends on how much grease is left and how much dirt has gotten in there. Once you take the CV joint apart and clean it, you will be able to see if you need to replace it.

Is there difference between original axle and OEM one? Driving on torn boots for several months? I think it is gone bad already or will soon.

I haven't heard of or read of any aftermarket boot repair kits. It's always usually just replacing the whole thing when it's done. I had to replace my passenger rear cv axle after I curbed the wheel super hard having too much fun during my first winter with the car. Running on an aftermarket axle because the amount Lexus wants for an OEM axle is ridiculously high. ~$300 CAD more IIRC. I don't even notice a difference between the rebuilt aftermarket axle and the oem one.

There is a big price difference from what i remember, like $500. Im concerned about the cheap metal in some of the aftermarket ones thats why i was looking for a respectable brand that holds up. I just got a quote for $300 for inner, outter boot with aftermarket axle. But im looking into other options.
