Thank you. That's how it came installed from the factory and I thought it was just a matter of adjusting it to the center but the diagram did show it pointed downward so that's what confused. So I need to unbolt it completely and install it pointed downward?

Thanks again

Ya I researched before doing and it seemed like everyone was saying that the arm just had to me moved to the center position but I had to actually remove it and flip the link over to get more adjustment.

I have the same problem. And my lowbeams point down now all times like half way from the normal setting. My issue is that the bracket that holds the sensor cracked last year and now it's completely broken so basically hanging off the bolt now and sensor dangling I gotta get it welded since sensor still works theres no point in buying a new one. Now try this i did it last year and held me down until the point of bracket completly braking and by the way the check headlight system light was gone as well. I sprayed wd40 on the bolt holding the sensor. Mine was seized/corroded so wasn't allowing the level to move up and down and somehow wd40 did the magic. After I get my bracket welded I'm hoping it can all go back to normal.
