Tried to fix my wife's (2008 is250) navigation over the weekend. Long story short i failed and gave up after hours of trying to get the copper circuit exposed. Put everything back and what do you know i now have check VSC, and AFS OFF lights in dash. After further investigation i realize key fob will no longer lock or unlock door (and lock switch on panel only works when car is started). also, if i put the car in accessory mode then nothing lights up in dash. Fob starts car and once started seems to run fine but have the VSC and AFS errors in dash. Took car to autozone to check codes and they say there aren't any codes thrown. what could i have done and what should i do. Planning on heading home and checking some fuses after work. any ideas????

The navi's screen was frozen so i attempted the circuit writer pen fix. I have pulled the unit back out and all plugs seem to be correct and plugged in. The weird part is that all the problems have to do with door locks, dash, AFS, and VSC and not ac and the navigation stereo and AC. They check out fine. The only part of the unit not working exactly right is the clock. I never assume anything but i wouldn't think the door key fob sensor would be located there. I am hoping its a fuse but if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it. Thanks!

Problem Solved: Must have blown a fuse some point during the process. Swapped out fuse and VSC error gone, AFS OFF gone, clock on, and door locks work again. Luckily it was an easy fix. Thanks for the responses this forum has come through for me many times.
