Hey I was wondering if you think the car needs engine mounts? Espically the front ones, because sometimes i get a clunk and jerk when the car shifts from 4th to 3rd when coming to a stop. Also sometimes it does a pretty aggressive jerk when it down shifts from 4th to 2nd.

Looking at the video it seems that the engine mounts are probably worn, yes. I don't recall my 4GR or 2GR moving quite that much when revving it. That said, I'm not sure it's the cause of your troubles.
EDIT: My memory may be off, see later posts.

My car is a 2012 with 34k miles on it, still under powertrain warranty, I hope the dealership will take care of it. I don't really race the car, and I drive mostly highways, every now and then a floor from a redline but nothing too crazy i thought. Hopefully that works. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the dealership couldn't find any issue with the car. Somehow. I also have a clicking/popping noise in the front right tire and they couldn't hear that either.

You know, for those shifting issues you may try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or so, then reconnect it
and take it for a drive. The ECU will relearn your driving habits and so this might help. Easy enough to do and
it's free.

i tried that many times and the problem keeps coming back. I noticed that when i’m slowing down at a red light and don’t use the brakes at all the car still jerks as it down shifts by itself.

UPDATE:
So I noticed the click happens when downshifting even without the brakes. I let the car slowdown by itself from 45-50 mph to about 15mph or so. The car kept downshifting till 4th gear, and then the rpm went down a bit too low and cause a clunk and very very tiny jerk. And it only does that from 4th to 3rd. Sometimes, it skips 3rd and goes to 2nd and that causes a bigger jerk.
Also, when car is up shifting, it's not smooth, and there is vibration in the door from the engine when stopped. All the indications to me is leading to engine/transmission mounts.
Any Ideas? The dealership is being super annoying for the fact they can't see the problem. They charge $140 to just look/test drive the car, even though they haven't charged me anything because they couldn't hear it; I only have 3 months left on the powertrain warranty and I don't it to end then the problem gets worse.
I don't understand. They make money by fixing it (charge lexus) and I'm a happy customer. Win-Win. idiots.
