Go to PCH and Warner. Turn South and pin it to win it.

no no honestly I don't know, but around us you have Irwindale drag strip up off the 605 and Willow springs if you want to stay above board, or PCH between Seapoint and Warner, or if you want to risk Irvine/Tustin PD you can head to the backside of the Old USMC Airstation late at night. Those places will give you WOT with out having to slam on the brakes or tons of traffic people to hurt.

I don't think WOT would help caked up Carbon on the valves or piston. It must be chemically removed or walnut blasted off.

That's a decent section late at night / early morning.

Did you take it over to Lexus of Westminster? I just got my IS and have not been there yet. Wondering if they are good dealership.

If the carbon build up is stuck on, you'll need chemicals or blasting.

If you slam your gas and red line your car, it only helps prevent initial carbon build and it's more of a preventative than a removal.

Gotcha, I am HB so I split the difference in distance. I might call Lexus of Newport and head that way instead.

I know they are a VAG shop but AUTunning in HB does clean valves for all the DI Audi's and VW's. Super good reviews on yelp and my buddy gets his S6 worked on there and loves them.

I honestly don't know if they do work on Lexus's. I know they do great work, and they do know how to fix carbon build up on the backs of valves and intake runners. Ping the shop, worst case they say no.

Thanks for the info. I will hit him up.

The easiest way to get shops to do lexus walnut blasting, find the ones that do it for bmw, minis, subaru.

It took me one call to a shop. In which I asked if they do them for bmw 335s...they said yes...and i said the IS250 has the same issue

I then told them the market that is available due to no one (not even lexus) offers it. They did 2 of mine, and last i checked...a few more since.

Sell them on being open to explore, and adapting to adding one more car opportunity to their portfolio

Like most has stated, if you have carbon build-up already, there's no amount of WOT pulls that will clean that up. So you're best bet is a media blast. Read good things about walnut blasting, and seen REAL results.
