Rear Seatbelt Locked
Hello Everyone,
Earlier today a friend of mine got in the back seat and before I could even reverse the car said he was stuck. He started to panic as he couldn't get the seatbelt to unlock. This is the first time this has happened. Fortunately he was able shimmy out from behind the belt. But the button to release the belt isn't releasing.
Im reading up on different sites that this seams to be a common issue. Is there a way for me to get it unclicked that I'm unaware of? Or is the dealership my only option?
2009 Lexus IS 250.

That's something that I would take to the dealer because it's too critical of a safety feature to mess around with by yourself should you not know what you are doing. It could literally mean life or death in an accident.

could be something fell into the mechanism, jamming it. dealer should be able to resolve quickly.
