Default Help Identifying Oil Leak

Hello,

I was just about to start an oil change and noticed there seems to be oil near my oil pan and up next to it on the side. Can anyone help me identify what this could be? Am I looking at the differential here? It's a 2008 AWD IS250.

I would recommend degreasing the area if you can. Then you'll see we're it's coming from.

^Correct! Get under there with a can of brake clean and go to town on the build-up. After a week, check for where the leak is truly coming from. Or, there are dyes you can purchase to add into the oil to then use a black light with to find the source of the leak.
