Default Anyone running 5x115 wheels on their car?

Hello guys, I've done a lot of google searching but a lot of the thread that comes up is regarding "will 114.3 fit on 115" on the Cadillac forums.

Seems like the consensus is that it "can" fit but not ideal.

Anyways, I just wanted to see if anyone personally is running 5x115 wheels on their cars with just a hub centric ring.

Thanks!

definitely not the way to go. hub centric ring or not, the acorn lug nuts required for most aftermarket wheels will not seat properly...

If the width, offset and hub size of the wheels is ok I don't see why they wouldn't fit with wobble bolts/nuts.

The studs and nuts won't wobble as they are tightened. The issue is you are going to have more stress on certain studs than others. Un-equal weight applied to the studs will be subjected to breakage.

Thanks, after speaking with a friend he had mention the same thing and you both are absolutely right.

That's what I am thinking too. I had almost forgot all about wobble nuts. I know people with 112 lug patterns run 114 wheels with wobble nuts. So I am thinking it's "safe" to run 115 wheels on a 114.3 hub using wobble nuts.

That is what I've read too. Thanks for the reply

Definitely. I'll carry a body bag too. It'll make the clean up easier. 🤙🏽

The hub rings won't help centre the wheels to the studs when you tighten the nuts the wheels will move and the studs will bear most of the force. Uneven distribution of the weight onto the studs and they will snape.

Yeh after discussing it further and reading more threads / looking at pictures, I've realized this as well.

It seems that wobble/variation nuts would be the only safe solution to this.

The only safe solution is to get wheels with correct PCD.
