P0517 and P0713 Lexus IS250 2007 Automatic
Hello Lexusers, two days ago i was driving and the check VSC light up on me and alongside the check engine light with traction light also (The logo with a car driving around curves lol). I continued driving since i could not stop there and besides there was no difference felt in my driving experience. When i got home i saw in the manual that fuel tank cover can cause this, i locked it and next day its still there, i took it in for a scan with a friend who's got diag tools.
These two stubborn codes came up:
P0517: Battery Temperature Sensor Circuit High
P0713: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor "A" circuit high
He cleared it and after 25 minutes of driving back home, it came back on, i took it back to him immediately and the same two codes popped up again. I have flushed and changed transmission fluids i even did an engine service lol I am suspecting either the battery sensor, transmission fluid sensor or the PCM itself since they all work together but i heard the PCM rarely breaks down. Any suggestions please? I don't want to start throwing sensors at it when it's not actually my problem i am broke right now for those expensive things lol
