Killed battery and now gotta CEL
I was cleaning the car, listening to the radio. Took the top up and down several times. Seems I drained the battery. Jumped it off with a quick jump battery and now I have a CEL and a TRAC OFF. What's up with that? What should I do?

It could be benign from a failed self test brought on by low battery.
If you need to know for peace of mind, head to auto store for free OBDII port scan and have them tell you the code behind the CEL.
If in no hurry, three complete drive cycles (if not emissions related) should clear it. Up to full operating temp and hits sustained highway speeds.
Or, go to fleebay and grab an Elm Bluetooth reader and buy the Torque Pro App for Android and read it yourself. Total cost could be 25 to $35...
Let us know what code it reports should you have it read.

That did the trick. Cleared itself. I guess it was just a failed diagnostic because I drained the battery. Thanks so much!
