I just purchased a 2008 IS250 with 68k on the clock. It was sold to my friend as a "Certified Lexus" in 2011 with 30k at that time. Anyways, the door panels look pretty rough. I see some people are getting them replaced. Is it possible for me to get them replaced since I just bought the car or do I have to purchase them? Any ideas what I should ask when I go to my lexus dealer?

Take your car to dealership and let them know that you have sticky dashboard. They will put you on the list and will order part for your car.

 

You could get new panels and a dashboard under warranty, but it will take a very long time before they actually get the parts for it. I've been waiting for 6 months now and they still have no idea when they will be here. I'm sure other members here have been waiting 2+ years...

waiting time is not really for year. It's all depend on dealership that you went to. Some dealership (I know) has dashboard in stock due to customer sold the car without replacing it
