My Lexus 2006 is350 is overheating

Maybe go to the proper forum for it.
Oh and lots of things can cause it to over heat. But first thing to check is the gauge is it telling the truth. Does the fan come on? Water pump? Air in system? Radiator blockage? Dirt between the radiator and the air conditioning condenser? Bad hose with blockage?

It appears to have a steel impeller, unless it's leaking, it is not not responsible for overheating.
Back to square one; what are the signs that it's over heating?
True over heating pushes coolant out of the engine and into the coolant reservoir and is usually accompanied by a plume of steam under the hood. While this is happening if it is not caused by a faulty pressure cap, your engine temp gauge should be pegged and both fans running up front.
Are these things happening??
If it is not discharging coolant, but the gauge is pegged, I'd be looking real close at the engine coolant sensor (ect).
If you have an OBDII reader, read the temp from cold to 10" idle time...
