Bank 1 Sensor A

Bank 1 Sensor A
Trying to get my 2008 IS250 ready for the regular emissions cash grab. I'm blowing P0017 codes daily which calls for Bank 1 sensor B, and occasionally Bank 1 sensor A (P0016).
Its pushing 300,000 km . . . but still running like a charm for the most part.
Anyway . . . I've gone through everything but the Crank position sensor and cleaned the gunk off each sensor and replace the VVT sensor on the drivers' side.
Can anyone give me a hint as to what Bank 1 sensor A, and Bank 1 Sensor B is?
I'm getting great mileage and it is idling perfectly without a hiccup, knock or rattle . . . very smooth actually..
I'm figuring the two Crank position sensors need to be cleaned up, which I will do this weekend by going up from underneath with the car on stands.
I just took over the car and it is pretty gooped up with sludge . . . any pointers in that regard would be helpful as well.
Anyhoots, if anyone can point me in the right direction, please do as I'm new at this and trying to save a few bucks.
Next week I'm tackling the spark plugs now that I've got a pretty good idea on removing the intake . . . geez . . . who designed that mess??
Thanks

O2 Sensors
Both are on your A Side (Passenger side) One before the catalytic converter and another after it.
Here is a post regarding the O2 Sensors.
