Default Help, trunk won't open with keyless entry

Recently had my car taken apart to replace a rear quarter. Well just noticed the trunk won't open with keyless entry. By that I mean, I can't walk up to the trunk with my FOB and open it with the button on the trunk.
I narrowed it down to the trunk area is no longer recognizing my fob, but I don't know where the computer or receiver is in the trunk that allows me to unlock it/prevent locking my FOB in my trunk. I am basically looking for the location of the proximity sensor that recognizes my key fob when I try to open the truck. Or another possible reason it isn't letting me open the trunk.

PS: I can open trunk using both the button inside the car and the button on the key fob. Also I checked and the valet button is not the problem.

Possibly missing a connection to the key fob sensor. you would want to take it back to the shop where the replacement was done.

But do you have any idea where the sensors/antennas are so I can check them myself? Or at least what they look like?

Try pressing the valet trunk button in the glove compartment. Open the door, theres a tiny button inside, press that and then try it

I'm not sure exactly where it is or how it looks like but this picture should help you in finding the location.

Sometimes the Key FOB battery's power is the suspect. Try to replace the Key FOB battery and try again.

Thanks DryEye! I located the inside sensor (picture attached what it looks like). However I am unable to take apart the bumper at this time.
If someone can confirm the second (outer) sensor is located in the bumper that would be great!

Did you try and press the valet trunk release button?

This is it by the way, the handle looking thing in the middle. Turns out the wire was cut... easy fix, but yeah... lots of headache.
