Default IS350 Swap/parts

Ok, I have a fun question. I am thinking about picking up a cheap wrecked 06 IS350.(If I can get it cheap enough) I was considering robbing it for parts, such as In-dash CD/GPS, Calipers, Black leather interior and heated seats, etc. However, I thought about pulling the engine and tranny for a swap down the road. Has anyone done this before? Would it be worth it? Is there anything else that I would want to pull?

Thanks

Have you taken apart a car before?

Yeah, last car I built was a 97 240sx. Did a LS1 swap on it with a T56. Replaced all interior and completely stripped the vehicle and did paint and body. (I hated the paint and body)

Helping a buddy now, do another LS1 swap on a 96 240sx.

As you've said might be worthy your time if you can find one cheap enough and have time and space to pull & store all the parts. You probably can take back all the money if not more selling individual parts if you're patient enough. A lot people probably do it part time or even for a living.

I tried to help someone with electrical wiring questions on Maxima.org. Was that you?

Engine, transmission, transmission mount, driveshaft, rear subframe with differential, engine wiring harness and ECU, dash wiring harness, ABS actuator, VDIM/stability ECU, fuel lines from tank to engine for port injectors.

I think that's about all you would need.

Yes it has been done before.

No that wasn't me on the Maxima forums. I haven't owned a Maxima in years.

Well, that at least gives me an idea of what I would need for the swap. More parts needed than I thought, but definitely doable.
