Default Power Steering Help

so long story short was going into a corner and didn't see something in the road that caught my oil filter plastic cover ripped it off and tumbled it and whatever i hit under car. I immediately lost power steering and the PS light came on. i was able to make it home and pulled the negative ground from the battery hoping it would reset eco and PS issue. It didn't fix it and the PS light is still on and i have ZERO PS at all. I've looked through the forums and i know my alternator and electrical system is okay. I am unsure if the debris ripped a connector loose but i am unsure of the wiring diagram for the PS system. If you have any recommendations or solutions please help so i can avoid dealer at all costs.

Most likely a connector, or wiring got damaged. Check all the wiring going to the steering rack.

yeah prob what MikeFig said... I'm pretty sure there's a connector near that area sort of in the middle section on? the subframe/rack/ front sway bar portion... can't remember exactly, but when installing my front sway bar I remember disconnecting the steering rack connector so check there.
