Default Toyo Proxes 4 plus tires.

Hi all,
I bought a used IS350 with Toyo proxes 4 Plus tires, 225-40-18 in front and 255-40-18 at rear. They are all season performance tires.
I don't see they have directional arrow on tires. Can I rotate left to right on front and rear tires?
Thanks,
Eric

Yes you can, just keep them on the same axles.

I find rotating staggered wheels side to side is a waste of time. I used to do it thinking that it'll give me even tire wear, but I stopped doing it and I don't have any tire wear problems through 3 sets of tires now.

That is good to know. I just rotated them this afternoon. Let me keep an eye on them, see if any difference. Thanks,
Eric

Are you sure you didn't miss the markings? Looking at the pictures on the Tire Rack site, the Proxes 4 Plus certainly seem to have an asymmetrical tread pattern.

Bichon is right. Move 'em back.

I just call Toyo representative about this issue. Their answer is the Proxes 4 plus are non directional tire. We can rotate either way.
Thanks God, i don't have to do it again.

^^^^The representative was right. The tire has an inside and an outside. See pict of a section of the outside. Sorry for the misinformation.

However, in the early days of radial tires, it was thought not to change the direction of a tire with miles on it. I still live by that, though I'm sure most folks don't
