You need to look for corrosion, growth of foreign matter inside the amp. As in, remove the cover. Post pictures if in doubt.
If that looks OK, install amp and check for power. Do a search here as I've seen a schematic of the pinouts.
Acc on is adequate but easy to kill a battery on these things.

I ordered one off ebay, plugged it in, and everything works.So to update, the amp will cause unresponsive touch screen on the sound info page, bass, treble, etc.
