Default 06 is350 no sound

My is350 has no sound. Nav unit was just replaced.

All the touch works but no feedback tones and no radio sound.

Also all the touch works EXCEPT the sound directional settings screen (front back right left)

All the research I've done is pointing to the amp, but would a bad amp cause the settings/touch on the sound page on the touch screen to be unresponsive??

OP was this at the dealer?

This is the exact reason why Im thankful I DON'T have the nav/touchscreen. Too many cars built these days with this system that's designed to fail prematurely.

Considering that the navigation system in the OP's car was built a year before the first generation iPhone came out, and a few years before the first android phone, I'd hardly say that a failure at this point is "premature" It's antiquated, yes, but I'm very glad to have the nice color display in the dash, even though I switched to using Waze on my smartphone (and Spotify on the phone via Bluetooth for music) years ago.

Default Some sound?

So I did hear a ding or beep noise when I was playing with the button that adjusts your tire pressure sensors and the color on your speedometer, but nothing from the radio unit...

Does this still sound like an amp?

There was a thread while ago about this problem, apparently water gets inside the trunk where the amp is located and corrodes connections to the amp causing speakers to not work. Some people use hair dryers and towels to dry clean that area, in many cases this does do the trick.
There are plastic air vent ducts behind the rear bumper that need to be checked for cracks and replaced, that's where the water gets inside the trunk.
Maybe someone can find the link to that thread?

I have a link to the post, I just wasn't sure if a bad amp would cause the sound settings touch screen to be unresponsive as well as allow for those dings from the tps/speedometer button to the lower left of the steering wheel.

Open trunk and inspect under the cover on the rightside. It seems plausable that if the touch screen speaker fore/aft left/right is not communicating with the amp that the amp is off line.

Did you check all the fuses?
Under the hood is Rad No2 = 30A
Interior drivers side is Rad No3 = 10A

So I pulled the amp out and let it sit in front of a heater all night for 12 hours. Plugged it back in, and nothing.

I suppose the amp could just be bad. There are two things that bother me though about the touch screen. When I volume up there's no visual indicator that the volume is going up or down, and I can't control the output of the speakers via the touch screen.

I saw a video for another model of Lexus where they said the radio control and the A/C have the same plug configuration and they had been accidentally swapped on this car they were working on.

I'm wondering if that could have been done here as my nav screen has recently been replaced by someone who likely doesn't know a lot about the car.

Haven't got to the fuses yet, I'll check them, though I doubt that's the cause.

You see any signs of water intrusion or corrosion back there?

The flapper seemed a bit old. I stuck my fingers in there and broke off a small piece of the rubber. There's a good chance moisture got in there, but I didn't see any rust on the AMP or housing.
