Looking at a 2010 IS 250 AWD to replace my 2007 IS 250 AWD that another driver on the road totaled. I LOVED "Beautiful", my 2007. So I found another that is very similar in all aspects down to the color, only the new one does not have a spoiler and is a 2010 vs 2007. According to all sources I've checked, I see that the 2010 gets a little less than the 2007's. Why is that?

What are the sources? If you like the spoiler, and the color is the same. You can move it to the newer car.

I believe the epa put in stricter mpg guidelines for 2010 model year, not 100% sure though.

Originally the IS250 AWD was rated for 22/28, however after the EPA updated their testing methods, the rating dropped to 20/26. This new rating applies to both the 2007 and 2010 IS250 AWD.
