I had all windows up and sunroof cover closed.

I don't see any dents on my roof...my car isn't perfect by any means but trust me this was just a random "explosion" that seems to be caused by pressure. I do live in AZ so we have a large range of temps (30 - 120 throughout the year) plus our fair share of small rocks bouncing around the highway but have never had one make more than a 1cm size star on the windshield.

Thank you for following up and truly sorry to hear of your experience and glad no injuries were sustained!

Would someone confirm if the vents located in the trunk assist with relieving vehicle cabin pressure, and would impact anything if vent became defective?
