Default P0175 - System Too Rich Bank 2 Oxygen Sensor Replacement

Just got this code P0175 - System Too Rich Bank 2 on my 2006 IS350 with 105k miles and the check engine light came on. I'm going to replace the oxygen sensor to see if that fixes the issue.

Couple Questions that I didn't see answered in other topics about these codes
  • Which side is bank 2 on?
  • Anyone have an engine diagram where all of the sensors are located?
  • What are the model numbers if the diagram doesn't show them?
I've looked up replacing the sensors on youtube but I've seen 4 different locations that people have replaced them and they all said they are oxygen sensors. These things are about $100 a pop so I want to make sure I'm buying the right ones.

From the front seat looking forward bank1 is on the right and has cylinders 1, 3, 5.
Bank 2 is on the left, 2, 4, 6 from front to back.

Bank1 Sensor1 B1S1 is the first sensor before the CAT on the rightside. B1S2 is rightside downstream after the first CAT... Same logic for B2S1, B2S2.

That said, verify the sensor is switching before replacing it as the cause is very likely upstream and the sensor is simply doing its job reporting the facts.

Give this a read... https://www.obd-codes.com/p0175

If it turns out that you need to replace a O2 Sensor consider using the OEM Denso sensor, www.rockauto.com has them . Some after market sensors might not work well.

On Rockauto it looks like there is a downstream and upstream sensor. Do I need to replace both or just one of them?
