I also use the ash tray to put stuff too.
I have the 2011 IS and it still only has the ski pass through; the rear seats don't fold down.
The current generation IS has fold down rear seats.

Ditto. Tray and lighter are gone. Its a wallet, phone, and sometimes key holder. That said the EMI from a USB charger in the lighter socket can and does create "fob not detected" messages if keys are too close.
Wunko, does your 2011 have USB and Bluetooth?

O/T but what gives with rear deck lid badging, mine and others but not all have no Lexus emblem on the left. Is that an F-Sport thing or some factor regarding the OEM thin film protector on the bumper as it has Lexus printed in it. Or is mine missing an F-Sport rear emblem? I think not on the last two items...

Lexus dropped the "Lexus" nameplate from the trunk in 2011 for North America. No models after that have it.
The F-Sport nameplate was added to the trunk for the 2015 model year of the 3IS.

5. I can't run my fog lights by themselves. Isn't that the ENTIRE POINT of fog lights????? lol. If it's really foggy out, and my headlights HAVE to be on, I can't see CRAP. I mean NOTHING. Fog lights on or off, if the head lights are on I can't see crap. Totally worthless.

really heavy trunk lid
expensive to maintain- costs 3-10x more per part than a typical toyota
navigation could've been 3d even in 2006
interface is dated
the sun visor on the ISC does not extend
massive fender gap on the front wheel at stock
bass extension isn't very low on the stock speakers
drivers side kick panel does not extend low enough- exposed circuitry down there
tpms overly sensitive, and does not indicate which specific tire is low on air
but overall, i absolutely love the car

Turns out the two hydraulic struts were worn and now replaced ( with aftermarket ones) it is very civilised.

'Really Heavy Trunk Lid' I felt mine was 'Heavy' when I first got it ( at 10 years old) it would slam down hard ( very un-Lexus like) if let go from about 1/3 to 1/2 open posistion.

Ridiculously heavy. Changed struts and still was heavy enough that it shook my spoiler loose and had to get it re-glued to the trunk. Mind you the IS-F trunk isn't much lighter at all either.

You got that right!
Yes! I may never buy another Lexus just because of the trunk and the tire sensors alone. If my hands are full I seriously cannot close the trunk lid.
