Default Is220d wont start, no light on start button, battery ok

I have a lexus is 220d that wont start. When you unlock vehicle and sit inside nothing happens. When you depress clutch/brake pedal start button does not respond or light up. Battery is ok. Fuses are ok. Any idea guys.

Is this model prone to the fuel pressure sensor too?

Im not sure, but there is no amber or green light coming on the start button. Its as if there is a power issue somewhere. Security light blinks. Tried touching key fob to start button but still nothing.

If the fuel pressure sensor was faulty, i would have have thought that the start button should at least light up and ignition should come on?

Check your battery ground make sure it has a good body ground. Sometimes the ground cable gets corroded. Where it's bolted to the body.

Also the main can- bus fuse could of blown.

Last disconnect the fuel pressure sensor and see if it cranks.
A tell sign would be try to use the OBD Port with a scan tool. If it won't communicate it's the sensor issue. At least of the times I've read about the sensor issue.

Hi , i checked all fuses they are ok. Earth points are ok too. Obd port not working so i tried disconnecting fuel pressure sensor, still no communication. Eventually i bridged ign relay and managed to get ignition on to use scantool . Fault code coming up is b2799 immobilser system.

How good is your key fob battery? If you hold the fob close to the push start. Will it do anything? It seems that the transpoder ID got corrupted. Maybe as a result of you bridging the IGN.

Reset the ECU. Pull the ground cable on the battery, and let it sit for 30 minutes or so.

Hello I've read your other post. You do mention the door open warning is not on. Maybe the door jam plunger is out. I'm not sure if it would kick in the theft mobilizer.

I found this link as well. You can try some of these options.
