Did they pad your shipping quote like they did mine? $47 ---> $115
Did you receive blemished wheels too?
Not very happy with my experience so far.
I'm not sure about "padding" as the quote was about 100 and at checkout it was about 104. If I had these shipped to Canada, I can assure you the shipping price would easily be quadrupled after brokerage fees, taxes, etc.
As far as I can tell my set do not have blemishes. The lug holes seem to have had a light dusting of that blackish powder you showed in your wheel pics which were easily removed with a cloth/rag. I think that it's just a residue from the manufacturing process. Aside from that I cannot see any imperfections.
I'm sorry to hear your not pleased.
All things considered, I simply could not do better given the price, fitment, and turn around time.
If I wanted a comparable wheel from BBS, Ronal or OZ or some other reputable brand that offers the same durability, I'd be paying at least $400 per wheel on tire rack

Not sure I'll be able to remove that stuff. It's pretty hard and feels like it's embedded in the paint.
I'll talk to myLparts.com tomorrow about my options.
If anyone is curious, they weigh about 27.4 lbs each. I used my digital bathroom scale so might not be very accurate.
got mine from the local lexus dealer so didn't have to pay for shipping. I put 245/40/18 yokohamas on them not bad for a awd is350. They fixed my wobble from my oem 17's that had a few rough winters on them. Now to find a new set of 17 wheels for my winter setup.
This non-stop rain on the east coast is making for some truly unpleasant road surfaces. Much of my commute consists of back roads, and new potholes just keep appearing... My poor wheels!
Just purchased a set of 18x8.0. What size tires should I get to go with it? I've only have the 17" stocks before and they're running 225/45/17. I've read someone on here using 245/40/18, is that the OEM spec? Thanks.
