Default Depressing Brake is not being Recognize to start car

My car will not start after recharging the battery. The battery was recharged for 24 hours and tested good with Batteries Plus. The battery died because I left the lights on for hours. When I try to start the car, I literally push the brake pedal to the floor with all my strength and still have Red Start Button and dash telling me to “To Start Engine Depress Brake Pedal” I have no brake lights when I step on the Brake Pedal. I checked the Stop Switch fuse and it’s a good. My brakes and brake lights were working fine before the battery died. Do anybody have any knowledge what to do to have my car start? And also is there a way to get into the Trunk? Because it seem like I can’t open with Trunk Button or Manuel Keyhole (The glovebox switch is not locking me out) Thank you.

I should try and replace that and see if that works but before I do so I see you can adjust it and maybe that will work

I'm just guessing here but #1 check all the fuses that might be remotely connected to the brake lights, etc (actually get a volt meter or try a new fuse). The only other thing I can think of is you have a wiring problem. Just currious, when you have the brake depressed can you move your shifter into neutral? If so does the car start when it is in neutral? Have you tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU?

In the fuse panel there appears to be a relay with a brake label on it.
Pull the relay and ohm from both sides of the brake switch to the relays socket. Relays rarely fail but you could ohm its coil, ohm the contacts, apply 12v to coil and verify it works.

Back to the socket;
There should be 12v on one leg to operate the relay. Well depending on if the brake switch makes a path to ground or 12v. I need a schematic to know more.
It should connect to the brake switch.
It should connect to the brake lights.

Here, bottom right.
