Default Car wont start

I just changed the brakes on my IS 250. Everything seemed to go well, but during the process, while up on jacks, I tried to get the car into neutral by starting the engine and shifting into N,,,,warning lights came on, as well as audible alarm in car and exterior alarm signal. Now the car will not start, and the electric power steering indicator is on. It will turn over, and has even fired a few times. but will not keep going. multiple attempts killed the battery, and I have recharged it, but when trying to start again, same result. I was thinking of disconnecting and revonnecting battery to see if I could reset everything, but do not wish to compound the issue even more. I am no mechanic, but I thought I'd twisted enough bolts in my life to be able to change brake pads and rotors. Any advice out there?

Try the battery disconnect (after bringing down the car). Good luck to you.

I called the closest Lexus shop, and the tech said he'd never heard of this happening before, at least under the circumstances I have described

Unless the car is afraid of heights, the only thing I can think of alarm wise is door open and in gear warning.

Do you you recall anything specific about the alarm?
You spill any fluid down there, the starter is nearly under the MC.
Any chance you had the radio or lights on and simply lowered the battery voltage which then resulted in slow cranking and flooding.

Charge battery and next time you go to start it, hold the pedal to the floor while cranking. See if it starts.

No idea what's causing that, but my next steps would be to check all the fuses and then check the engine codes. If you don't have a code reader now is the time to get one.

I move my car on ramps with door open, and the inside alarm goes off. Never had a problem.

Since the external alarm went off. It's probably in theft mode.

Try unlock the car twice with the key fob before starting.

Also you can look up on YouTube. On how to use the manual key to open the doors. To get it out of theft mode.

As it turned out the car was SUPER flooded, managed to get it going with a jump start and a big cloud of smoke...
Thanks for the advice guys....

Now, anybody got any pointers on how to remove the Rear Wheel ABS sensor? Ive been trying to remove it so that I can change the wheel hubs, but fear I am going to break it. In a number of videos and such they are all saying to remove it, but none of the posts are for my same year of car (06 vs my 09)

Thank you in advance,
