Transmission pan slightly leaking fluid... need advice
Yesterday, while changing the oil on my 2006 IS350 I noticed that my Transmission Fluid Pan seemed to have ATF residue on it.
It isn't dripping out on to the floor, but I can see fluid on at least 2 of the bolts that connect the pan to the car. Some bolts are clean, others have fluid on them.
Leak 1
Leak 2
Seals
A few questions, if anyone has insight.
Any thoughts? Advice?

- Is this just the main Pan Gasket?
- On the "Seals" picture that there appear to be gaskets for each bolt. Could that be what's leaking since it's only happening to some bolts?
- Is the car OK to drive for now? I just randomly noticed this yesterday; the car has always shifted and drove fine. I didn't even know there was an issue.
- If I remove the pan and change the gasket... can I just catch all the ATF that pours out, measure it, then replace that exact same amount with the correct fluid? I've read some good threads on CL and it looks like people are checking the temps and allowing overflow, etc. If 2.2 quarts comes out and I add 2.2 quarts with a pump... does that work?
Any thoughts? Advice?

Just do it and throw a filter in it too. If the replacement gasket is cheap uncoated cork seal it by spraying gloss rattle can paint on ALL SIDES.
While the pan is off but before you drop the filter, start it for say 7 to 10 seconds and rev it slightly. You'll get another quart or more slung out of the converter.
When filling, add no more than 2 qts and start it to fill the converter. Then add the remainder of the fluid.

When I DIY-flushed my trans, I saw a very small point near the front-end (nearest the engine) where trans fluid was pushing out through the pan gasket. Not leaking...yet; but it was easy to replace and install. It was just a simple, coated cork gasket. Nothing fancy with metal inserts or anything. No sealant needed anywhere either.
