HI, I'm a new member and my new 2008 IS350, what upgrades and fixes to do?
Hi everyone, thanks for providing a very active for Lexus owners. I just got this 2008 IS350, a few issues is the starter isn't very strong. It chugs before starting, a few times it did not start at all and it took 3 times to start. I just picked it up from the Stealership and have 90 day warranty. The battery and all brakes and tires were replaced before being sold.
I also want to replace the front silver grille with matte black F Sport upper and lower grille with a black L logo, which is the best value for the money for these two grilles that match?

Congrats on the new car, I just picked up my '06 a couple weeks ago. I changed out the upper grill last week. I didn't bother with the lower grill, matches fine to me. I just bought this one on eBay and it fits great: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-06-08-...72.m2749.l2649

Used the same grill before I did my 3IS bumper. Fit great and only paid $35 in early ‘17 for it. Hardest part was cleaning old 3M tape off emblem and cutting new. Might be less hassle picking up new OEM L emblem for $24 on eBay.

It came with the Touchscreen satnav, 6 CD changer, moonroof, aircon seats which is necessary in Hawaii to keep the Okole cool.
Some pics of the swirls and crappy stealership detail before I detailed it myself.

Here's the bad. There are rock chips on the hood and the front bumper has either badly pitted rock chips or the car was near an arc welder or grinder and the sparks burned the finish. I wasn't able to buff the bumper out. There is also a badly done left rear wheel panel well repair. Good thing is I drilled the sticker price down from 13980 to 11000 out the door, playing every car buying trick in the book.

When thinking of buying get them inside under florescent lights and dry. You'll see every dent, scratch and swirl so you can make your next move.
Ideal is to get them up on the lift and inspect rockers, doors from a new angle too. Not to mention drip rails, pinch welds, and details of things PO's have ran over.
Plus the leak check and confirmation the exhaust isn't held on with bailing wire or anything else.
Enjoy the new ride OP!
