Radio dash kit recommendations
I recently bought a 2013 is250 WITHOUT nav/ back up cam.
I love the car but it does suck not having navi and back up cam.
Looked for a while through the threads and i can't seem to find the thread that covers this. please point me in the right direction.
i did some research off forum and there is a kit, Metra electronics P/N: 99-8163 with climate control unit and also retains steering controls, anyone have this. tell me what you think.
Or if there is a better dash kit let me know.

I live in Fort Lauderdale Florida. They still on the Honda stealing tip over here. But I rather have my own pioneer or alpine unit in there. Warranty is good if it goes bad .. I don’t have back up cam and those system are capable . The Tesla style are but if your car don’t have it they have to sell you an extra adapter to run it from my understanding. Most of manufacturers are Chinese and I’ve even tried to contact one through Ebay and there English writing was poor, if an American company decides to make one I’ll definitely buy it .. I saw a video on YouTube where the unit took about 2 minutes to load ..where pioneer 5 secs

I went with the Beatsonic kit after looking at all the weird alternatives out there. I used a double-din headunit capable of Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The biggest problem I see with all those Android kits is that they really are just some 2015 chinese tablet that will never get updates. They require WIFI to do anything online (do you have a hotspot you want to enable all the time?) also, as they are Android, they lose power when you shut your car off, I'm sure it's a lot of fun waiting for a 2015 Android tablet to boot up every damn time. Sticking to a tried and true aftermarket headunit is the way to go. I can't comment on the Metra kit because my car has factory nav, but IMO it looks really ugly
