Default Battery died..replaced..but now car wont start....

Dear members.

i have a 2006 is250. Battery died. So i replaced it.. but now it wont start. Gets power and when you press the button nothing happens. Also i tried using the fob to start it by putting it by th button. Didn't work. Replaced fob batteries. Weird part is fov doesnt unlock the doors now or lock.

was working fine before.

any ideas?
Also before anyone suggests a starter... if it was a starter. Why wouldn't the fobs work now? Is there a fuse for the fobs?? Thanks

^ hmm I don't recall pressing twice after a battery change but it was years ago...

also don't forget that your auto-down/up windows will not work until you manually hold each window switch down to lower the window all the way then up a few times.

Are you able to get the car to the 'ON' position where you have all the lights on the dash on etc?

I don't recall having issues with the key fobs not working after a engine battery replacement. The installation went smoothly for the car battery....right? Like not crossing terminals or the like?

Door locks aside; you are getting the green light for the button press, yes?
Define - won't start.
Dash lights up but engine does not crank over.
Or No green light, no dash lights, no cranking.

If the later, it is time to inspect fuses as that likely ties back to the locks not working.

There are three sets under the hood. Get your eagle eye on to inspect the fuseable link bus bar by the battery. Its under the clear cover. All of the Z link conductors must be in tact.

OP, have you confirmed that ANY electrical accessories on the car work, whether the car is running or not? If not, check the fusible link.
