Hi all,
I have a 2006 Lexus IS250 and I'm being told by AutoZone that it's not possible to replace the tail light bulbs that are in the trunk lid. The only option is to replace the entire assembly. Is that correct?
Thanks

Only the turn signal, and reverse lights are changeable. The rest are LED stop lights.

Some apparently aren't stop lights, because they come on when I manually turn the lights on. Unfortunately the issue has changed. The LEDs (driver's side trunk) aren't burned out; they're flickering on and off. I got out of my car after lunch and glanced at them as I walked around and they were back on. Suggestions on what to look for? It's only happening on one side.

Yes only the outer tails are brake lights. The inners are just lights. Perhaps just a bad light, or you got water inside the tail lamp itself.

So I just installed these and got hyper flash. So I installed the provided resistors(only given one set). Everything worked good until I checked the vlands headlights and they no longer have sequential. At least the sequential is very quick and it’s pretty much just flashing. I just ordered the adjustable relay Binh installed in his video and will see if that fixes it. If anyone has had this issue please let me know what fixed it. thanks.
