Newbie is250 Questions
Looking to install this HID kit-https://www.xenondepot.com/H11-HID-K...D-p/xt-h11.htm but need to know if I have to buy the PWM Module as well. I have an 06 IS250 with factory halogen lights currently.
Also... what year did the new “wide open” style grille come to market? I believe it’s now the standard/base design starting in 2014 but I’m pretty sure it was used prior as an F-sport option? I’ve searched and can’t be sure what year it started?
Taking all this into consideration I’m curious if I can fit that new style front bumper cover or grille onto my 2006 250?
Lots of questions on I know- my apologies.

You don't need the PWM module - anti flickering - it's only for some cars may incur codes if the car detects something up with the headlight if I read it correctly.
wide open style grill? If you're talking about the controversial lexus spindle grill, it came out with the 3rd generation cars as an f sport option. 2nd generation IS cars never had that huge grill, we did get "f sport" grills in terms of a honey comb style - I think there are 3 versions 2006-2008 2009-2010, 2011-2014 IIRC but Jeff Lange will prob correct me. It's possible to do by grafting a 3is bumper and 2is bumper together else there's a kit by NIA auto design and other shops that sell 3IS F sport conversion kits

I had no idea the “spindle grille” was controversial however upon a quick google search of it... I guess it is!! I think it looks hella-good and for the right price would throw one on my IS250...
Thank you very much for the info regarding the HID’s... if you have any other suggestions for new headlights I’d love to see them.
