hello everyone
greetings from Singapore
Im a recent owner of '08 is250 with mileage of less than 140k km (87k miles)
I have sent it to my trusted mechanic to do some checks as the car will probably be with be for the next 10 years
He mentioned that the engine mountings are a little worm and that I could change them if I wish.
Now, now I just to check if there are any parts/components that I can change as well along with the mountings?

i was going through the service log and the suspensions were replaced just 1 year ago
ill looking into the bushings probably
i was thinking if i will need a head overhaul or something?
my mechanic is telling me not to touch the engine too much if its not giving any symptoms
i ll be changing fluids like
hope i got these covered?

Differential fluid would be for the rear differential which manages the different rotational speeds of the rear wheels and the front differential if you have an awd variant.
I'd also highly suggest that you change the transmission fluid while you have it with the mechanic as well. They claim to use lifetime fluid but the transmission fluid should be changed every 100,000 kms or 60,000 miles in my opinion. Otherwise some members have had shift solenoids and other things go bad with their transmission over the long haul.

yep..I will be replacing the transmission fluid tgh w the rest
Mine's a RWD, will that need the differential fluid?

For the IS250 engine I'd look out for "carbon buildup" which is a buildup of carbon deposits on the valves given the nature of direct injection engines. if your mechanic can look at your intake valves to check I would do so, it's better to take care of it sooner than later.

My understanding is that it is always good to change the filter when you're doing a transmissions fluid change as well as gasket and a wipedown of transmission fluid pan.
