No mention of dead sensors? Considering the 8-10 year battery life on TPMS sensors, that may be useful information for owners of vehicles this old.

Just throwing this out there. I've only had my 2008 IS 250 for about a week and I can already say its one of two things.

1.) A TPMS sensor is dead

2.) The TPMS sensors need to be reprogrammed.

I bought my IS 250 off the lot with the TPMS system check on. I also bought it with a tire that was drove under inflated and was worn on the sides. So I bought a new tire at discount tires (Sentry UHP $76) and had them install it. With the $19 installation fee they reprogrammed all of my TPMS. I didn't even have to drive the car around at all. The employee walked in handed me my key and said TPMS are programmed and your tire is good to go.

PS. The dealership told me they wouldn't fix it because it would cost them around $2000 and they'd have to raise the price on the car and didn't want to do that. Discount Tire $19 boom.

I purchased my IS350 with the light on also.
Hit s pot hole and needed to replace front tires.
I had them change all 4 sensors for $240.
