Default Car won't start suddenly (VSC AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON)

Was heading back from work today when I noticed my VSC and Engine light were on, on the drive home everything seemed normal. Got home and went back to my car after a few hours to leave again. My car started then turned off right away, and I tried it a second time and did the same thing. What could this be?

nobody here is really going to know because these cars were nice when we first got them but they are starting to have all kinds of silly problems. could be anything. it's starting to turn out that small stuff going wrong absolutely cripples and ultimately incapacitates the whole car metaphorically speaking leaving owners unable to properly drive or rely on their cars and wondering if they drive a lexus or a pos ford.

Sounds like an alternator/battery issue. Go get your battery tested, any Auto Zone/O'Rielly/Napa should be able to test. If that's bad then replace and test alternator to make sure it wasn't affected. Likely if one goes out, the other is short to follow if left unfixed for too long.

C'mon guys, the tire air pressure is low.
You'll need to pull codes to see if there are any, then we may have a better understanding of the problem.

MedicalDoc is absolutely right. Random guessing is really no help at all. It just muddy's the water. Better to stay silent. The OP needs to pull the codes.
