Hit Pothole Very Hard--Damage?
Wondering if there is any suspension damage.
Yesterday I was driving in Los Angeles and hit an unseen pothole about 25mph. The left front wheel crashed into the pothole and made a very loud thud. I was so pissed krappy LA roads.
I went to a tire place they inspected the tire and wheel seems fine although I wonder if a tire bubble could appear later. Car seems to drive the same and straight no abnormal noises.
Anyone else ever experience this??

Should always inspect just to be safe. Suspension, shock tower, etc. Remove wheel. have a look around.
chances are you're fine though. Passenger/street cars are engineered to withstand repeated violent impacts from potholes without damage. This is why factory wheels weigh so much and why suspension components are heavy and beefy on normal street vehicles.
sports cars made to be light however tend to be vulnerable to such strikes. you see a lot of porsche strut tower cracks from potholes because people drive sports cars like Camrys and dont watch where they go.

I wouldn't worry about the tires, More for the wheels instead. My friend hit a huge pot near LAX unseen due to freeway bridge. Found out later that his inner barrel was slightly crack.
