Default 2008 is 300

I want to change my spark plugs and get those dual ignition ones, but my engine is the 300 and its hard for me to search online for it. Also wanna get ceramic brake pads. Wish I had part numbers for all these items or know if its similar to other models. I also wanted to know how to change gear and diff oil and the quantities that are required(also what kind of oil ATF and SAE90). I dont know if there are any clubs or communities in UAE who can help out as Ive tried searching but not found any.

What car are you talking about exactly? in 2008 the only IS models made are the 250, 350, and IS-F. IS300 was never made in 08. I'm assuming you mean the 350?

Well I was willing to kill time and help you figure stuff out with some research, but i literally can't find anything about an 08 IS300. All I can find is the 01-05 and then the newer ones. Sorry

I believe the proper spark plug part number is located on the underside of the hood. check there.

for the gear oil, there are lots of threads here but in a nutshell you can use synthetic 75w-90 oil in the diff.
transmission I highly recommend using OEM Toyota/lexus ATF only. these trans are sensitive to different brands. more here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...for-is250.html

if you look at your front brake calipers do they look large or small?
large, mono-block looking (4 piston) calipers are similar to 350 models.
smaller, sliding calipers are on 250 models.
get pads closer to that of your model.
here is a diff between small and large brakes: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...50-brakes.html

This doesn't show the spark plug specs. Just info on engine variants.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_GR_engine

I'm assuming it's the same spark plugs as the IS250/350. maybe Jeff will chime in. Apparently they are identical engines though different displacement of course.

It uses the same spark plug as the 2gr-fse and 4gr-fse, Denso FK20HBR11, or 3473.

edit: I swear Denso had the hbr part number listed for the an 08 IS300, but guess that's wrong. Go with what Jeff said. :/

The IS300 uses the FK20HR11 part plug while the IS250/350 uses the FK20HBR11.

The Lexus part number is 90919-01247.

For the front brakes, the IS300 middle-east model uses the same front brakes as the IS350, so that should be easy to find pads for online.

The ATF is Toyota Type WS, the differential uses a GL-5 gear oil (check your owner's manual for the weight, likely 75W90, 80W90 or SAE 90).

Hope that helps.

Jeff

Is there an online parts catalogue for checking parts and part numbers.
