Default What's leaking? Front differental?

I noticed last week a small drop of oil in the garage front the front of the car. Crawled under the car, check the filter and oil plug/pan and they are bone dry. Kept looking and it seems like it's coming off this housing here to the right of the oil pan. I believe this is the front differential. Can anyone confirm? The plug is snug and tight, so I'm thinking maybe where the housing comes together or the boot seal behind it is leaking.

Anyone have this issue before? And does the front diff use it's own oil on these cars or does it share with the engine or trans oil?

Car is a 2007 IS250 AWD.

Judging by the photos it looks like the leak maybe coming from up top. You can see oil on the side of the oil pan block too. Also more near the transmission itself, and front differential drive shaft.

Look for a valve cover leak maybe. Driver side rear near the firewall. I would degrease the area first to actually see where it's coming from. Make sure not to degrease electrical wires, or connections.
