i didnt notice it on my 2010, but its possible that i just never paid attention so i was surprised as well to see it on my 2013.

What brand of battery? I bought these cheap ones from amazon and they work sweet for the first week or so and then the symptoms like you said, all intermittent. Ill walk up to my car and it wouldn't unlock with the handle, or sometimes I have to tap the fob to the button. I found my spare and it works flawlessly so im sure its the "no name" batteries I'm using.

FWIW: A fob I used daily for 5 years went on the frits doing a lot of the same thing that are mentioned here. I resolved the issue by doing a thorough cleaning of the PCBA.

Take a look here. fob-battery-low-replaced-it-now-no-puddle-or-touch-to-open these actions resolved the problems I was having and the same battery was returned to service. All is well.
