Default Help me name this part that broke off my HVAC..

Its broke from the pivot point. The pivot is made of crap plastic. What is this part responsible for?

This image is of another HVAC with the part in question correctly mounted. It is sort of a pie shaped thing with teeth.

Looking at the location being in the center. It should be the HVAC blend door control gear for the heater core.

Hey MIke, thank you for the find! That gear you are talking about has its pivot broken. Wondering if epoxy would do the trick.

Well it won't hurt to try depending on the place it broke. Use a 2 part epoxy for plastic. Can you post some pics of the actual part, and where it's broken?

Looking at the pictures online better I'm thinking it's the gear for the fresh air door? Here's some links to look at.

Here's another one for some reason I can't add multiple links on mobile.

Referening your first post pic. See barrowed pic from link red arrow. Then it should be the blend door.
