Default Desparate for HELP with Loss of Power 07' IS250!**Fixed Issue**

Been quite a while since I posted in here....really lneeding some guidance and help. I know someone here can help me out!

I was driving down the interstate 2 weeks ago on my way to work.... my radio shut off, then my rear view mirror was flickering on and off(the anti-glare)... then my dash lit up like a christmas tree and before I knew it..only my headlights were on and then they died along with my vehicle going 70mph.... pulled off to the side and had 0 power. Nothing..... first thing came to my mind was "Alternator"..... no brainer.... I've had this happen before on a Acura Integra. had my wife come pick me up and take me to Advance Auto and I purchased a new battery because that was cheaper than getting a tow to my house. Re-installed new battery, power was back.... but it still wouldnt start..... so I was playing arounf for a few minutes under the hood near the fuse box around the battery and I did hear some sort of a "click" sound from the motor.... went back in the car and it fired right up, so I drove it home.... had no power steering though.... I pull in my driveway, shut the car off..... start it up again and power steering was back....lol...

So, the car sat for a couple weeks and I went and bought a new alternator, installed it along with a new belt while I was at it. Went to fire up the car and I have power, but the brake pedal is hard as a rock and it keeps saying " Press brake pedal to start vehicle" with the start button being red light and not green light.... Radio and AC display will not come on, and when I press my key FOB to lock the car, it won't lock..... only the unlock bottom will work, i.e.e make a sound....

I am lost and need help to figure this out. Any ideas or anyone ever encounter anything like this?

Thanks in advance!

Start by checking every fuse in the car. Driver Side Engine Box, Battery Side, Interior Driver, and Passenger Footwells.

I would use a DDM eyeballing it won't suffice. Sometimes you could have a hair line crack on a fuse.

^^ Specifically the fuses under that clear lid. The first and easiest to see is the 80Amp power steering fuse.

Any chance you loaned the car out and someone jumped it with leads reversed?

No chance, I am the only person who drives the vehicle. I will go through all the fuses again today when I get home from work.

I think I found the problem....the main alternator fuse is blown on the rail.
