I was wondering what the difference was between the following two bumpers (i.e. are they from different years, or different packages?)
This one is the common 2011 F-sport bumper I'm used to seeing:
Where he front bumper cover and the "fog light lip spoilers" are two separate parts that have to be connected.
Whereas I have also seen pictures of this bumper:
Where the fog light lip spoilers appear to be integrated in to the design.
I was planning on purchasing a 2011 bumper to mount on my 2006 model IS, but this difference in bumpers has thrown some doubt in to whether I will be ordering the right parts. Are they the same bumper, just one has the lip spoilers fitted over the original bumper? In that case, is the only aesthetic difference the line it makes when it overlaps the bumper, or are there more noticeable difference from different angles?
So it's essentially like putting a fitted sticker on to that portion of the bumper? It doesn't seem to alter the bumper dimensions at all from what I can see.
