Excellent Choice @2013FSport. BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S on RWD lasted me 20K. Diden't get 45. I must admit they look new from the side but the grip tread was balding and I would slide in the rain.
Got all four last year for 889.90 w align. 1 year is all i get out of tires. Yesterday I had to settle for all 4 new Yokohama's Advant Sport. If i spell it right. Gottem for 1,000 w align at lexus.
Look kinda basic on the side but grip seems to be a tad better than the G-Force comps. I still like the Gforce better.
I finally got the Basic Tune up and all spark plugs replaced. Also got MAF cleaned plus an oil change. Ahh, now old Betsy runs good. Helped hide the carbon build up, RPMs steady now. Using Shell gas only.
Still worry about the 2010 IS 250.

Last night I was at the Costco tire center and did not realize that they carried BF Goodrich. However I have not seen them offer a special on BF Goodrich. But will check them out.

I didn't pay that much for these but no alignment either. With 15k on them now I'd guess I'll get 35 to 45 from them. Tho I do spin up the rears occasionally and shove it into the corners when possible. I've had them in the snow a few times when new and they did great. Car came with worn Nitto ???? and those were lit up sliding constantly. Turned off the nanny and had the car jacked sideways but in my lane. It took a couple iterations to correct as I over corrected the first round with it being 45° to the direction of travel. Those had me in the hunt for an LSD and these have me wanting flash and headers as she can't easily break them free! =/

All I can say is every car and driver is different. Manage the toe and tire pressure for your driving style and usage and chances of getting more miles increase.

Whats the price difference out the door?
Less Schwab mounted, balanced, old tires disposed was right at $700 for the set. 255/40 225/40

Although they charged me for TPMS seal set and never popped the sensors....

The Bridgestone Tire Sale is on at Costco until 11/15. It amounts to little over $600 for the RE980’s, out the door, 225/40 Frt and 255/40 Rr, it is $129.90 off. Ordered and was tol the tires are in. Time to get the Goodyears off. I had 43K on the rears. not bad at all. The Fronts have 28k miles on them and I will ask them to give them to me, I think I can sell them quick, lots of thread left. Otherwise I can donate to my buddy who owns a repair shop.

I must say I am beginning to like my set of RE980. I thought they were noisy, but now I have gotten used to the hum, it is all good. Definitely better than the Goodyears I had prior.
