Default Would aftermarket mufflers affect MPG?
Just recently got an 08 is250 and at some point in the future I was hoping to get some aftermarket mufflers just to make the car sound a little better (not really looking for performance gains). Would swapping the mufflers (nothing else) negatively affect gas mileage?

I would say yes, in all my other vehicles once I put an exhaust on it , I always was on the throttle to hear the exhaust.
