Has anyone ever tried to swap the front bottom seat ? 2008 Is350.
They appear to be the same from the outside. My drivers side is starting to show signs of wear. If I’m able to swap the wear marks would be against the console.

Not a bad idea, although if I take the time to dig that deep, I’m likely to take the cover apart and stitch in some new pieces. It’s really easy to do once it’s off the cushion.
ill take a closer look later to see if it looks possible to just “switch them” tho.

They are the same size but made up differently. The inside side panel has carpet sewed onto it (to stop things falling between the seat and the transmission tunnel). The outside side panel has holed where the seat adjstment switches are. If you swap them over, the carpeted area may be covered by the plastic seat trim panel and the switch holes would now be on the inside and shouldn't show. Let us know if you decide to go ahead with this.
