I go from 5k to 7,5K no more. 6 months max in time.
IS250 have real problems w/fuel dilution so no sense in leaving contaminated oil in the engine.
I have a 6 speed and I drive really hard when its warm and also I try to limit stop and go. High speed highway miles are good for our engines. These engines beg to be driven hard.

Every engine I've owned pulls Rrrrr's under load when warm and they look like new inside when inspected. These are high mileage engines too. None of which have failed from fresh oil, sustained hard pulls all their life...
They are not diesel tractor motors and should not be lugged around or idle from town to town.
Of course mine all do 60mi daily round trips too.
