Limp mode over a sensor
Hi,
This is my first post here and I own an is220d from 2008, bought this a week ago. First car I ever purchased with my own money. Overall I'm very happy with it but 2 days ago there was pouring rain I had to hit the breaks hard, 2 minutes later of driving Check VSC came up on the dash and the car went into limp mode, I drove it to a service, they checked the error codes and the front right ABS sensor is dead or something.
Now because I didn't want them to charge me an arm and a leg for a sensor I drove the car back in limp mode. I ordered a new ABS sensor but it's friday and the sensor is probably gonna ship on Monday and arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.
Is there some secret Konami code sequence with the pedals and the the handbrake or something where I just go "i'll take my chances" and override the limp mode and completely disable it?
Thanks

There's no KONAMI code for this. Anything related to VSC will not stop the blaring light from going away until you fix it.
In your case you wheel seed sensor is Dead. If you don't have a ABS scan tool to reset the light after replacing. You'll have to drive a few KMs for it to reset itself.
